I looked into editing static GLB-files and it works well in Blender. The video starts with the default Big Bot and ends with a version that I did a quick edit on in Blender. Painting and some sculpting.
Ambient occlusion and specularity works with the Blender edited model.
I'm not at all a fan of Blender but it seems I have to give it another go, for the 100th time over the years.
