Ralf, cheyenne, Ulli and 1 other like this!
Here's an experiment to see if it is possible to create an animated colour font.
The individual frames of the animation have been created with Alphabix. The animated GIF file has been created with JASC Animation Shop.
Despite the small size of the animation, I think it looks very good. This animated bitmap font technology looks very promising!!!
The animation has been created by Metin Seven from Sevensheaven.com, who is also the genius behind the Bix alien character:

Michiel, the 'experiment' works!
How did you pull it off? I have 'Alphabix' and 'JASC AS'....
so, please, give me[us] the goods!

You can use Alphabix to create the individual animation frames. With JASC AS you can turn those frames into an animated GIF file. The only thing left to do is to make the .BF file point to your .GIF file. You can do that by editing the .BF file in a text editor like Notepad.
Looking forward to your animated font!
