Version 13.5.0.2 introduces 2 new stroke effects.
In the upper left you can see the original picture:
-choose LAYER ADD LAYER > ADD PICTURE LAYER....
In the upper right, the new stroke effect is applied. This adds a border around your transparent picture:
-choose LAYER ADD LAYER > ADD PICTURE LAYER....
-choose MEDIA > CHANGE EFFECT... and select the Filters\Stroke effect
-play around with the FX STROKE SIZE and FX STROKE COLOUR props
In the lower left, the new Opaque effect is applied. This makes everything transparent opaque:
-choose LAYER ADD LAYER > ADD PICTURE LAYER....
-choose MEDIA > CHANGE EFFECT... and select the Filters\Opaque effect
-play around with the FX COLOUR prop
In the lower right, the opaque effect is applied to a traced picture layer:
-choose LAYER ADD LAYER > ADD TRACED PICTURE LAYER...
-choose MEDIA > CHANGE EFFECT... and select the Filters\Opaque effect
-switch from SOLID to STROKED (3rd dropdown below the textbox)
-set the TEXTURE MAPPING property to 1
-play around with the STROKE and FX COLOUR props
Here are the full release notes of 13.5.0.2:
-Suomi translation. Thank you Petri!
-EZ emoji. By default this overrides the robot emoji, but can be cleared in the MEDIA > CHANGE TEXT... dialog.
-Emoji characters in text and scroller layers now also use the layer effect if the 1st texture is a colourmap
-2 new effects: Filters/Stroke and Filters/Opaque
-bugfix: custom emoji no longer need a restart to use the correct aspect ratio
-bugfix: emoji are now correctly mirrored when using the 3rd slider of the EMOJI prop
-bugfix: clearing custom Bix and EZ emoji is now remembered at restart
-bugfix: mixing emoji and normal characters in the scroller layer now works as expected
-bugfix: WRITER prop of the sketch layer no longer makes the sketch invisible for some values
-bugfix: memory leak fixed (running the app for hours could make the GUI disappear)
