Alex-Raymond T., LostBoyz, liuyongcai and 10 others like this!
Here's an example of what you can do with the new Text\TwistedText effect of version 14.7:
outerspace-software.com...
The tunnel is rendered with a sketch layer and designed in Bixelangelo:
outerspace-software.com...
The texture has been created in Filter Forge:
filterforge.com...
The Raleway font can be downloaded here:
fontsquirrel.com...
Both text layers use the Text\TwistedText effect. Make sure both layers use the same FX prop values. Easiest way to do that is to mark the ALL LAYERS checkbox.
The FX FLIP LETTER POSITIONS is set to (4,9,13). This rotates the letters 90 degrees at positions 4,9, and 13 in the text, as an exciting alternative for a space character.
And yes, it takes some time and effort to read the text, but that's of course the whole idea of this effect. Legibility & readability is boring ?
The Camera\CameraBloom effect is applied to the camera layer. On older graphics cards you might have to speed up rendering by removing this effect.
Great example Michiel - thank you! This effect is Brilliant and opens up a whole new world of possibilities! Have already spent two hours playing with it this morning :)

Thank you Pixelpanther. What is needs is a suitable music track. Would be great to see what your skills in that department can add to this demo!
