1) Do you you think it could be possible to transform any open sketch in a straight line sketch with extreme values of smooth property ?
According to my tests it seems that smooth no longer has an effect beyond the value 1000.
2) when you attach text to a sketch if you play with sketch smooth property text follows sketch deformation but it does not work with italic property, is there a reason for that ?

1) A SMOOTH value of 1000 means that the smooth algorithm is performed 1000 times. This makes it slow. To prevent the app comes to a halt, this value is currently limited to 1000. Realize that not all shapes will iterate towards a straight line. To do that we could add a MORPH TO STRAIGHT LINE prop. Or maybe even add the possibility to add a 2nd EPS file as the target shape. 2) No special reason. It's just one of those combinations of features that has not yet been taken into account. It's already on our 2do list. Thank you for the reminder!

A morph to straight line for sketch is ok for me, thank you. And i remember your ToDo list and it has probably gotten longer for 3 years.
