Used a Sketchfab physics simulation model skfb.ly... and used a cartoon map on it. Attached a container to one of the pieces via model joint and added the title to it.

Very nice. Love the destruction.

By attaching a text to one of the blocks you've turned a tech demo into a useful intro video. And by applying the Cartoonmap effect you've turned a default material into something bright, playful and appealing. Again, it takes a BluffTitler animator to bring a 3D model to life. Well done!

How about shadows? In this screenshot I have set the SHADOW INTENSITY prop of the light layer to 0.3.

Other ideas:
-by setting the ANIMATION SPEED prop of the model layer to (0.5, 0), the animation is played at half speed. This way you can fully enjoy the physics simulation!
-by animating the same ANIMATION SPEED prop from (0, 1) to (0, 0) the destruction is turned into construction, like your "Building made easy title animation" show.

Thank you all for your friendly comments! Tried to include Michiel's suggestions in this version published as a short. The ground plane in the original model is a bit too far below (see "levitating" parts in Michiel's picture), so shadows have been a bit tricky.

Well done, Thor5ten. Very interesting color scheme.

Fantastic show!

Nice short!

Yes, the ground plane is not at the right position. And because of the small blocks, the SHADOW MAP BIAS prop has to be fine-tuned.

Here's another idea: fixing the 1st slider of the ANIMATION SPEED prop to 0 and attaching the 2nd slider to a VJ effect. This way you can make the building destruct and construct at the beat of the music. This exploits the fact that all the frames are precomputed and stored in the model file. Something that would be impossible to do with a realtime physics simulation.

Thank you very much, Decentralized and Lostboyz! Michiel, I'll take a look into it.
