Been away for too long. But the interior mapping effect inspired me profoundly.
Used the single sides of several cubemaps to create the texture. With the interiors set to no light there are virtually no seams visible. This makes for a truly amazing effect.
The video is best viewed in 1080p with 60fps.

No, Captain's Chair used an old QTVR-Format (no single sides) which doesn't translate well in contemporary formats.
I used pictures from "On Board the U.S.S. Enterprise" published in 2013, which is sold out here and can only be found in used condition. It wasn't too well received back then.
