RENEE, rickyrey, kayserhans and 3 others like this!

Matty's show reminded me of a disco ball model I once made.

To use this model in BluffTitler choose LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD MODEL LAYER... and select this .x file

To make it shine apply the ReflectionMap.fx effect by pressing the CHANGE EFFECT button.

And you can add sparkles by pressing the ATTACH PARTICLES TO ACTIVE LAYER... button and selecting one of the sparkles presets.

I have double checked the file and experienced no problems.

Choose the menu item LAYER > ADD LAYER > ADD MODEL LAYER... to import this model into BluffTitler

You can find all the effects, including ReflectionMap.fx, in the BluffTitler/Media/Effects folder that comes with the installer.

Hi Michiel
I am having trouble making the disco ball rotate correctly. I have tried changing the rotation and also the pivot point but the best I can get is the ball spinning up and instead of in a circular motion like a normal disco ball would do

I would not touch the PIVOT POINT and only animate the 1st slider of the ROTATION property.
