Decentralized, vincent, Ilja and 6 others like this!
To make the robot's eyes shine, I've used the old BT trick to duplicate the model and set the copied layer to "Not Lightened Additive". One of the best features of GLB files are its embedded textures. Just in this case it prevents us from getting the emissive texture. But there's a so-called "community version" (as in free) of a program called Gestaltor available. Loading the GLB file there we can instantly choose the texture, take a look and open it in an external picture editor like Paint. Then it's just as easy as saving the picture to a png file.
For those who want to take a look: gestaltor.io
Thank you all.
Franco, I have used the following parameters:
Directional light with shadow maps
Intensity 0
Shadow intensity 1
Shadow map bias to full self shadowing
Models' lighting factor 1
Camera bloom intensity 2
Bloom threshold 0.1
From one keyframe to the next a sudden switch to standard settings. Voilà. 😊
