Excellent! All Success!

Jeep35, the answer is yes.
The English, Dutch and Farsi localizations are up to date. Would be great if you could help us with another language!
michiel, 10 years ago
Hi Michiel
I may be of any help in French language if needed. I am yet official translator for the Photodex ProShow software. I have started in end 2013 a few training sessions about PluffTitler and import in Producer

Bixelangelo
With the new EPS converter and drawing contours, is Bixelangelo still necessary for creating sketch effects?
If so what can it do that BluffTitler can't?
BibleBible, 10 years ago
With Bixelangelo you can record your sketches as you draw them by hand.
This gives a more human result than the more paint robot like result of the automatically traced pictures by BluffTitler.
michiel, 10 years ago
The Picture Trace is one of my favorite new features to BT11, but what it's doing is tracing around the edges of the imported image versus following along the contour lines in a single stroke like Bixelangelo does.
Picture Trace = an outline / Bixelangelo = a drawing.
Depending on application, huge difference.
BillyJack, 10 years ago
Sorry for my ignorance, but what do you mean by "tracing pictures"? I have a slight idea, but don't fully understand it.
Could you give me an example?
snafu, 10 years ago
In this instance, tracing pictures refers mainly to the outline of an image. Like in a png or gif file, you can make the background transparent leaving the subject in the image appearing to be cut out. Picture trace reads that outline and makes you a backing applied to the image giving the image thickness or depth. Kind of a box look 3D if you will. That's what the new picture trace does.
Now tracing out a picture when referring to sketch is different. BluffTitler now can import a png and other image formats as a sketch layer. Sketching draws a line around the cut out area, in effect tracing out the image.

Well done!

Which option is better when upgrading from v10 to v11: tell it "yes" to uninstall the v10, or tell it "no" when asked?
Thanks for the help.
fdolansky, 10 years ago
Thank you BillyJack for your answer, but I still don't see the difference, an example would help to clarify the matter.
snafu, 10 years ago
fdolansky, I would just let it do the uninstall. There's really no need to have 2 exe files since there's no change in the way BT operates for you to have to learn. The uninstall does not delete your extra shows you have saved, so you don't loose anything.
BillyJack, 10 years ago
snafu, I'll make a show that demonstraits the differences here in a minute and post it.
BillyJack, 10 years ago
Fantastic!!!! Thank you!!!Köszönjük szépen!!! Promo video too absolute COOL!!:)
LostBoyz, 10 years ago
Thank you all for your enthusiastic feedback. Thank you all for making version 11 a success!!!

Michiel,
Please can you install a new feature button called 'MORE HOURS TO PLAY WITH BLUFF' which enables your eyes, brain and hands to function indefinitely...LOL :)
Sleep just seems to be a waste of perfectly good playtime now that BluffTitler 11 is out - It's simply awesome.
Thanks so much, for making this such an accessible and featured piece of software....Long may it continue!!!
Regards....Bob
Pixelpanther, 10 years ago
What, PixelPanther? You don't have your Java I.V. installed on your desk yet???????? Amateur! LOL.
BillyJack, 10 years ago
WOW, v11 is a lot of fun to work with. I'm still very new to BT, but can already see the difference. My favorite feature so far, is that I can click on "add new EPS layer" and select a png file with a transparent background, and it automatically converts it for me. This is SO EASY!! Then, I can add a border to it and make it really pop!
fdolansky, 10 years ago
What is the difference between choosing "add new EPS layer" and letting it convert a png file, or choosing the "add traced picture layer"? I've done both with the same logo, and both layers seem identical. Which is the better option to use?
fdolansky, 10 years ago
Good remark!
There is no difference. The ADD TRACED PICTURE LAYER menu item has been added because test users found it confusing they had to create an EPS layer in order to trace a picture. We tried renaming the EPS layer to the VECTOR IMAGE layer, but this caused even more confusion. So we now have the good old EPS layer and the new traced picture layer that are identical.
michiel, 10 years ago
LOL @ BillyJack.... I tried putting the system clock back, but unfortunately I ran out of sync with the Global Community :)
I'm convinced, You Can Never get bored of BluffTitling ;) bring on those matchsticks for the eyelids :)

Was pondering Head Tracking as it was mentioned above.
Would it be possible in the Camera Layer to have a new Mouse function so it acts like a mouse in a FPS game. Look Left, Right, Up and down, with the left mouse button or a key when pressed moving the Camera forward.
Then with the aid of Freepie or Glovepie you could use an HMD to wander around.
And while I am here, as there is an Oculus_Rift fx would it be possible for an FX that just does side by side 3d, for those of us that don't have a Rift . Or indeed to watch on a 3D TV.
Worth a thought, methinks
pool, 10 years ago
michiel,
Now bt can convert images to 3d,
Maybe it is the time that you add functions for exporting 3d objects/scene to other 3d softwares!
SamSaam, 10 years ago
would be great that you can incorporate some codec to display icons. miniature bt so we would look for shows faster
PODER VIRTUAL, 10 years ago
and not only see them with the same red icon BluffTitler you could do that?
PODER VIRTUAL, 10 years ago
What a great stuff!!! :-))))))
It is sooooooo funny, to play around with this new version.
My fav is the bitmap tracer. ;-)
Thank you so much Michiel and Team for this wonderful program!!!
Ulli, 10 years ago
...and just another thumbs up with Pool's request.
