Phong shading is an improvement on the standard Gouraud shading model that is most noticeble when using small specular highlights.
The attached animation shows the difference between standard lighting with the effect file LIGHTENED.FX and the new PHONGSHADER.FX effect.
The phong shader effect requires a graphics card that supports pixel shader 2.0
