liuyongcai, Ilja, LostBoyz and 2 others like this!
Here's another example of a 3D model made with BluffTitler and published on Sketchfab.
I've used a picture layer with the following settings:
Style: STAR 3D (1st dropdown)
POINTS prop: (100, 69, 21).
Simply choose FILE > EXPORT AS MODEL... to export as a model: outerspace-software.com...
Here's how you can embed a Sketchfab model in this community:
outerspace-software.com...
As you know, the GLB format can't store a cube map.
Sketchfab solved this by offering stock textures. For this model, I've chosen the PINE TREE ARCH texture under LIGHTING > ENVIRONMENT in the EDIT 3D SETTINGS menu of Sketchfab.
BluffTitler solved this by using Textures/Cubemap.DDS from the installer. But any other cube map can be selected in the MEDIA > CHANGE TEXTURE... dialog. When you use the AdvancedMaterials\PBR effect, place it in the 3rd texture slot.
More about cube maps in the user guide:
outerspace-software.com...
And how the model layer uses textures:

Saving this as a BT show file requires 2 KB. Exporting it as a GLB file in super high quality (Choose SETTINGS > SUPER HIGH QUALITY) takes 10 MB.
So the BT file is 5000 times smaller 😯
Thanks Michiel
