LostBoyz, Tintin, maxste and 12 others like this!
A work in progress demo of the new cloth effect of BluffTitler.
We're trying to create a new layer (Cloth layer? Waving flag layer?) that makes it super easy to create waving flags like this one.
The flag can be replaced by your own picture by changing the 1st texture. Mirroring the back is optional.
Current properties include:
-wind direction
-wind speed
-cloth stiffness
-air resistance
We're trying to keep it easy to use by deliberately NOT including props like mass, gravity, damping, restitution, friction, collision tolerance, shearing,...
A cool feature is that the flag can be disconnected from the pole, as you can see at the end of this video!
Looks amazing!!! very realistic , i love the waving style in different ways,
I think next version will be great surprises!!!
Thank you very much Michiel,

Any news on the release of this please, I've got a project that would look absolutely stunning using this.
Thanks.

Latest improvement is the connection of the flag to the pole with a cord. This way you can also correctly hoist the flag!
Compatibility is very important and releasing the new waving flag layer too soon can seriously compromise future additions and improvements. For this reason we want to take our time to do it right. Thank you for your patience, if you have any requests please post them here. Thank you!
