I've noticed that when using FoldingFan.CFX on an image, then setting the KEY behavior property to Overhauser Spline, the MorphingStage goes past 1 (open fan) and the fan opens past max-open and goes crazy. Whats weird is it only happens on one of the fans.
The Overhauser spline exaggerates the curve, creating values outside the key frame values. If those values are unwanted it's better to use the Bezier spline.
We'd be happy to protect the effect against invalid values, but where can we find the FoldingFan effect?

The Picture\ChineseFan effect of version 16.1.0.5 makes sure the FX MORPHING STAGE prop stays in range [0,1]. This will prevent the Overhauser spline from generating invalid values.
Realize that sometimes designers deliberately use out of range values for special effects. So we have to be careful not becoming too protective.
