NextPreviousHomeQuestion about reflections.

If I load a model that already has its own textures,
is there a way to add a reflection map without having to
transform textures into esternal maps, load and then apply the effect
with also the second texture for the reflections?

Thanks

When you keep a texture slot empty, the model texture is used.

So, in this case:
-keep the 1st texture slot empty
-place your reflection map in the 2nd
-use an effect that expects a colour and a reflection map.

The model layer places the normal map of the model in the 2nd texture slot, so it's better to place your reflection map in the 3rd slot and use one of these:
AdvancedMaterials\ColourmapNormalmapCubemap
AdvancedMaterials\ColourmapNormalmapReflectionmap
