@Michiel: I wanted to use the RainbowText.cfx effect with the Cartoon_Baby_blokked.png texture.
I hoped to see this pattern on the text but all I see is an uniform collor patern and no blocks, dots .....
Is there a way to chanche this effect to see the full pattern?

Here's what can be done without an effect and a separate text layer for every letter.

Horizontal tiling of the texture is a problem with your proposed functionality. I don't think it can be done with the same quality as using separate textures.
