Interesting experiment!
Realize that you can apply any effect to the picture layer that is rendering the glow map. In this screenshot I used the Filters\Posterize effect with the Textures\Cartoon_BluePink.png texture in the 2nd texture slot.

Michiel I have a problem with the bounding box around the result.
Did you use a colourmap to overcome this?

Filip, I used the FULLSCREEN IN BACKGROUND style (2nd dropdown below the disabled text box). This way the box of the picture is the box of the show.
