I'd like to use 20 short 10 second MP4 video clips on my BT video wall. How do I tell Bluff to use only only a certain part of the video. Or do I have to make each of the 20 clips separately with the desired section?
Video and audio files always start playing at the beginning of the show:

So yes, making separate clips is the only way.
Most users export their titles with transparency info and mix them with video backgrounds in their video editor (NLE). For this reason adding the possibility to control the start position is not high priority.
When you say "video wall", does this mean you use your videos as textures in 3D space? In this situation it's indeed not possible to do the mixing in your NLE. It looks like you're doing a very interesting project. If possible it would be wonderful to see the result in this community!

Actually I found out by accident that you can replace an image with a MP4 video file. The project is just a short promo for myself.

Michiel I renew my request for a time duration of a show with decimals, this will be mainly useful with video clips that we don't want to adjust at a round duration.
For now, a clip with a 10.5 seconds duration will start to repeat à 10 seconds, so we must use keyframes to adjust a 11 seconds show during its 0.5 second final.
Why should it be difficult to handle ?

Jeep35, use the INSERT TIME and REMOVE TIME buttons to set the duration to 10.5 seconds. It will be rounded off to 12 in the .bt file, but the generated video will do what you want.

Thank you Michiel
I knew this trick but as the duration remained as a round digit I thought it was not taken in account.
Great !

So I rendered 12 ten second videos for my video wall. Bluff became very unstable when i was populating 16 of 32 screens. It took over 2 hours to render. Bluff went thru a stress test.
