Here are the full release notes of version 14.0.0.3, launched today:
Loading big 3D models is dramatically faster. You won't notice much difference with normal models, but our 200 MB test model went from 34 seconds loading time to under 5. That's the difference between useless and practical!
2 new Bix Textures: BixIsometric.png and BixPixels.png.
New 3D model: BixPixel.x. Together with the new pixel textures this demonstrates the versatility of Bluff: from pixels to cartoon to realistic!
The water layer is now double sided: create your underwater worlds without dirty tricks.
Special/Bix effect has a new property: FX Procedural Colourmap (1=yes). This can be used to procedurally UV Map Bix, as used in the screenshot.
Special/Oscillator has 3 new props: FX Translate, FX Rotate and FX Offset.
Bugfix: line artifacts removed in Filters/Squares.
Bugfix: tangent discontinuities (used by normal and displacement mapping) fixed in 3D models.

Franco, is this big enough? ?
This picture is only 16 pixels wide, but thanks to the Filters\Squares effect it stays razor sharp, no matter how big you render it.
The FX TILES property is set to 16.
The installer comes with a few demos:
Shows\Picture\Pixels1.bt
Shows\Picture\Pixels2.bt
And this is a new demo showing the new pixel model:
Shows\Model\Bix4.bt
Choose FILE > OPEN SHOW... to open them.

Thnx Michiel. Although I hoped that the BixPixels.png was a texture template for the Bixpixel.x.
Nice to see that Bixpixel.x can be somewhat animated with BIx.cfx

OOOOhhhh Thank You Michiel,
I did not understand the possibilities of this effect.
I thought it was only for a mosaic effect, but it's a very
powerful effect because it digitizes the image that can be enlarged even in pixels.
Then by acting on the tiles you can eliminate the divisions between the boxes.
Thank you very much for having clarified this thing.
PS: I had not seen the animations !!
