The blur effect in version 12.2.0.5 has been improved and optimized: it looks much better and is only slightly slower.
Thanks to the new effects architecture of version 12, this also automatically improves all effects using the blur effect. This includes the Filters/Blur, Camera/CameraBloom, Camera/CameraDepthOfField, Camera/CameraBlur, Camera/CameraTiltShift and Camera/CameraSoftReflections effects.
The screenshots have been created with the demo show Camera\DepthOfField1.bt that comes with the installer. As you can see, the blur is perfect!
