Just curious to see what it is taking users of the program to create a decent show, 1 hour 10 hours? What to do average?
it depends.
depends on how complex it may be the show.
depends on the experience and imagination.
sometimes we have proved necessary time to devote to this, we have another life to attend to. therefore requires us to work in small moments.
but my advice is this, No matter how long it takes, the important thing is to take the time to do things well

Well I'm assuming you don't mean render time? :)
I've been working on and thinking about one for over a month now. But arguably I could have been more focused - on the other hand you can't rush genius ;)

I have been getting to know the program so there has been a learning curve, while I am sure many of you have been using it for quite a while from some of the uploads I see here.
It has taken me 2 weeks of just trial and error to actually feel good enough to produce a finished project. My first one is complete and I would say I have at least 20 hours in it.
I am very happy with the results though particularly rendering time. This is why I chose BT even though I also picked up C4D. I found the best results creating the show in BT then importing into Vegas, creating the sound track over the show and then saving the audio and importing it back into BT to render. The whole thing is rendered in less than a minute. It would have taken at least 1-2 hours to render in Vegas.

On several occations, we'll need an animated graphic for a last minute program change and BT is my goto software for 10 minute jam togethers that look like they took hours on hours to create. Idea's for projects take time, but once you know the ins and outs of BT, putting together commercial grade projects from a completed concept is a matter of a couple of hours.
