LostBoyz, sebouze, Bragina and 1 other like this!

This is a quick crude approximation to what CM did in his "nexus" simply using a sketchup model and converting it to a .X file

I did not put any texture of effects on the model with the exception of the text of course.

Which software did you use to convert the SketchUp file into a .x file?

And did you create the model yourself?

Michiel, do you think it will be possible in the future to import other 3D formats in BT ??? Thanks.

Michiel, it is a plugin you can find it here sites.google.com...

One thing I would like to do now is make the surface of the mixer reflective. Does anyone know how to do that?

Here is another version with the reflection. (one by one I am figuring this out) I used the ReflectiveFloor_CubeMapDDS.fx and a chrome picture as the 2nd texture.

What I cant get is shadows on the knobs, and sliders on the mixer model. I thought I read some where that the 3d models cannot produce a shadow. Is this true? There is no way?

The model layer can produce shadows, but only if the model isn't too detailed. There's a maximum number of polygons the shadow algorithm BluffTitler uses can handle (due to hardware limitations)
