isijav and ID Production like this!

I have a client that is asking for a price to do an intro like this. I want to do this completely in Blufftitler. However, as I am unfamiliar with pricing can someone please give me an idea what something like this goes for in the broadcast graphics world? Just a ballpark,

Thanks

Thank you bylaw!

$4 - $8k sounds pretty steep to me - but I'm not in the business. I would estimate how many hours it would take you to do the job, multiply that by a fair rate per hour, then add a margin of profit on top of that to cover any risk of overrun and your talent. If it took you 10 hours @ $50 an hour and you put 100% profit on top that still only $1000. So if you like this client, give that some thought too.

OH, this is wonderful.
I would like to see this work when you finish in BluffTitler.
look forward

10 hours? That's only one long day's worth of work. You'd have to be pretty darn proficient with BT to do a show with all those elements in just 10 hours, imho.

This is a minimum of seven working.

Good to hear these comments from people used to working with the program daily and can say how many hour it looks like. Thank you. So would you say $50.00 and hour is the going rate for graphic artists? Would you say that is common or is more by the job from $4-8K ?

is it possible to buy this project ?

Just want to say up front, this is not my original design, however I am creating something similar in Blufftitler.

It would probably be better to Private Email me rather than discuss in the forum. You can email me at rudemartini@gmail.com

Hmm new idea for the forum Michiel taking bids for projects?

10 hours was just an example as was $50 an hour. But if I was unemployed and could make $1 - 2 grand in a couple of days I'd win the job first and spend the time to put out a good product. If I'm swamped with work already, than raise the price to until you can get excited about doing it.

Lostboy, do you really think it would take you 7 days to make an animation like that? or did you mean 7 hours?

for me seven day
