songbaojin, xinyi, irina1208 and 3 others like this!
For fun i have create this sample of a Virtual Home Studio environment.
It's a mix of fake and true 3D.
Looks great, DJ Vincent.
One question. Is the record player spinning so fast that it creates an optical illusion that it spins the opposite of the record?

Thank you decentralized, on my computer vinyl turns in the right direction and at the right speed if I didn't mess up without the calculations.
So, maybe a stroboscopic effect.
I place a link with a real TD so you can compare.

Ohh, okay. It's probably that effect. Very noticeable on the dots under the vinyl at around 30 seconds in. Vinyl seems to always go in the right direction, but the player it's on has that effect of going the other way. Very weird.

Yes, in reality these dots are used to finely adjust the speed of the turntables which have a speed adjustment thanks to an integrated strobe and the dots should appear stationary when the speed is perfectly adjusted.
There are at least 2 sets of dots, one to set the 33 rpm and another to set 45 rpm.
I haven't gone that far and my dots are not really calibrated.
In addition the number of frames per second (fps) used in video encoding can interfere on the sroboscopic effect of the final video.

Nice piece of music you added to the video!

I would have never guessed photo either. That's crazy. Hard to tell what is your real player, 3D, and photo.

I think this works because the camera movement and rotation is limited. Maybe this also explains why camera animation is limited in AI tools.

Yes we need to limit camera rotation so that the deception is not discovered. For the pics i apply PBR effect as for model so we can set reflections, metalness, lights etc....to match the rest of the scene.
