Michiel is it possible to have choice : 3D space / 3D background / 3D foreground for the layer CONTAINER ? Thank you.
Artificially changing the render order creates an incorrect 3D world with all kinds of issues. What about lighting? Shadows? Fog? Depth of field? Stereo rendering? For this reason it's best to keep the 3D world valid and avoid the use of overlays and backgrounds. When you really need this, render to a colour map layer and render this with a picture layer using the 2D IN FOREGROUND or 2D IN BACKGROUND style.
