Decentralized, Alex-Raymond T., komies and 3 others like this!
I have been creating 3D characters in test mode and the result is impressive. I have used geometric shapes eps. The inflating, wrapping and beveling tools. The effects "Fur", Bender, WaveMorpher... These effects and tools help to shape the character; however, more tools are needed to craft with more precision, it's all a matter of being creative. In a container I have grouped the pieces, although it is advisable to create other containers within the same container to be able to group sections, for example all the pieces of the head. By the way, I have used Bixeangelo and a Vector Software to make the geometric shapes. I am looking forward to the future update regarding the GLB 3D export to then do the animation on the AI rigs.
Your models look VERY nice. Wonderful colours!
Yes, a GLB exporter would be great, but please realize its limitations. The GLB format does not understand BluffTitler effects so everything must be converted into plain and simple triangles. In the case of the Fur effect, this is impossible because it uses shader tricks. For the Bender and WaveMorpher effects we will have to find a way to copy the output of your GPU back to the CPU. I do not know if this is technically possible. Probably the very first GLB exporter will only support layers that do not use an effect.
Instead of using BluffTitler as a 3D modelling tool, I think a more productive workflow would be to create your models in a 3D modelling app like Blender and use BluffTitler to bring them to life by adding effects, texts, pictures, logos, plasma backgrounds, mirrors, water, landscapes, skyboxes,...

Yes, the effects are most likely not supported, especially the "fur" effect, since it's not a vertex, it's just a simulation. I am satisfied with the fact that the vertices can be exported in GLB. And yes, Blender is a great option for importing figures that cannot be modeled in Blufftitler. Thanks for your clarification, Michiel.
