Forum members or Michiel is there a way apart from using the transparency of adding a flicker effect to a picture layer please? Cheers John
Yes use flare.cfx with a Picture Layer. Set de FX Flicker periode to a value>0

And you can also use the VJ dialog in the Layer menu on top of the page.
Set the Transparency property slider to 0.
Go to the VJ dialog and set the Transparency sensitivity to 1.
Use the oscilator setting with a waveform that's appropriate for you.

An other solution with VJ dialog too :
Add a picture layer
Click on layer in menu bar
Select VJ
Select Color property
Set (3) colors value to -200 (you can try -100 and -255)
Set BPM to 500 (try with less or more)
Select waveform : Random
Click OK
Click PLAY to see
Increase BPM to increase speed
