NextPreviousHomeRequest: generate a waveform to modify a parameter.

Through the VJ panel we can automate many functions.
My request is: would it be possible to automatically generate a waveform file in BluffTitler so as to automate processes without resorting to an external audio file?
For example, if I want a piston to go up and down I could generate a waveform whose amplitude characteristics determine how much the piston rises or falls on the Y-axis.
In this way I will be able to create animation "loops" that are now more complex to create, using an existing panel.
Thanks

Have you already played around with the Special\Oscillator effect?

Thanks Michiel, there are so many effects that I didn't know existed.

If your audio file uses a fixed BPM, which all dance music does, the Special\Oscillator effect can be used as a low-tech, but super effective beat detection system!

thanks Michiel
it works very well, I don't know how I never used it.
On the wings of the fly, for example, it is perfect.
The only thing is that it takes away an effect, while the VJ panel was a separate possibility.
How do I put an effect on the layer if then I have to use another for movement with "Oscillator"?

In that case I would forget about the Oscillator effect and use the VJ dialog with a specially prepared audio file.
