NextPreviousHomeRequest: EPS like a bone

Hi Michiel,
I see it's a period of requests, so I'll do one too.
Will it be possible to create a command to bind two objects for the "rotation point" and to move them to create "bones" without using the containers? It seemed to me that someone had suggested using EPS that could "bend" in order to place the objects tied along this EPS and move it to move objects related to it.
Or is it possible a utility that moves a 3D model like you do with BIX?

Bye and thank you very much.

Are you building a robot arm?

no, it was in general to build pieces that move without using the containers. However, a robot arm is also welcome (remember, you said it would be nice to add it).
Thanks anyway for your availability in listening to many requests.

A bones systems is used by robotic arms and other machines like excavators. The container layer can handle this: outerspace-software.com...

Animals like octopuses (and Bix!) do not have bones. They are much more flexible than those rigid bones. Effects can handle this: outerspace-software.com...

For humans and other mammals we need bones and skinning. Maybe a smart effect can come close, but to do it right we need a 3D editor to create a 3D model with skinning and bones info. BluffTitler will also have to be adjusted to understand this info. Google on "skinning and bones" for more info about this. That would be an over-the-top feature for a video titler that focuses on text, but I can see the possibilities. Thank you for the request!

Hi Michiel,
Thanks for the reply.
I use Blender for 3D drawings, I saw the difference with the octopus, where the tentacles have material with a split surface that is distorted, while with the bones it is good to build rigid parts in motion. Unfortunately, the containers are good for 2-3 pieces but it is very difficult to move them with many pieces concatenated. The hand is a nice example of how you handled the movement on a 3D model.
I would have liked a 3D model made up of three or four articulated elements but on which the single element we can combine "join" one of our layers. (maybe limiting it to the picture layer or model layer).
I know it's not an easy thing to get, but it would allow you to use BluffTitler also for animation of characters or complex 3D objects. With the containers we can already get good results, but how much can we put one inside the other?

thank you again !!
