NextPreviousHomeSave Show + All Media Files option

Can someone please check if 'Save Show + all Media Files' option still works. I loaded up a BT file and edited a a few things and saved using the that option. Later it complained about \textures\... missing. So I copied the textures manually from the original project into where the new project is and it works fine now.

That's a strange issue.

What is the full and exact error message?

The original BT project has all the textures in the texture folder. It seems like when you use this option it only saves the textures that are in the C:\prog...... \out...\...... \textures folder and not those in your current projects folder.

Craig you have to re-save after every update/change after the last save.

all my files sit on a mini central server rack but it is still best practice to save and consolidate files to a local drive "not your c drive or desktop" most NLE like Sony Vegas and Boris AE etc work better when the files are local. especially with HD files that are uncompressed

After making a change that i wanted to reverse by using 'Ctrl Z' thats when the error occurred. It tried to re load a texture that isn't in the Bluff texture folder.

ok so the issue is you have to re-save in a different folder> rename project and consolidate into that new folder

I think the ".." in your path is the problem.

Can you confirm the ".." is in the path of the png of the original show? You can see this in the MEDIA > Change texture.. dialog.

If this is the case, removing the ".." from the path will solve the issue. We can do this automatically in the next version. In the current version it can be done manually, as I did in the above screenshots.

I found the problem, thanks for you direction. The path shows me .....\content\xml:?show/loop/image26

There is a content folder with an XML file inside. The XML file contains the path of textures etc.
