Dani and SMSgtRod like this!

would it be possible to add a function to move the rotation point of an object without moving it (the object) in space?
So that, move rotation point without the object changing its coordinates?
Thank you !

It can be done with animating the pivot point.

But In this fast an dirty example the rotation and position is animated.
The pivot point is stabile at 70, -70, 0
then I rotate it ones 90 degrees to the next key with accelerated physics.
then place a key at 0.001 of a second before that key and reset rotation.
then I move position (in this case 140 (two sides)) to the right)
then it starts over again.

Because of this jumping it can only be a colour an not a texture.
(Well it could be done with UVmapper texture rotation.)
But the animated pivot point can with the same principal.

I know that it is easy here to ask Michiel to make an effect or special property, but how often is someone going to use it? And can it be done with what Blufftitler already has to offer? Key animation can help in a lot of ways it just takes more effort not time because you have to wait till your request is granted.

Thanks, but
it's not that if you can do something the program can not be improved!

I have no problem with the texture, just be precise!
I used a background with a graph paper, comfortable, right?

Aaah my bad,

I thought since you had a question it was about a show you tried to make and needed a solution? So I thought let's help Franco so he can continue and move on.

But you are experimenting what can be improved with Blufftitler, find problems that need to be fixed.

Good luck with that,

sorry, I thank you because you're always helpful.
It was only to provide ideas, it is obvious that Michiel can not put everything in the program
for something that is used once.
But sharing various ideas may come out of new ones.
I also tried with the containers, but they work in the same way,
just that you could create two points of rotation like you did
with Newton's cradle, with those pendulum-spheres

No need to be sorry,

I like that you are experimenting, and try to push things further.
You have made BluffTitler in a short time a working tool for your graphic needs.

BluffTitler is quite a unique and versatile software, that results can look like it's made with a 3d modeler so it is natural you would compare and assign concepts as realtime perfect reflections, real physics, collision detection etc. but it isn't and according to Michiel never will be but it can look like it and can come very close.

What also is quite unique is that you have the owner's and programmer's ear in this community and ask questions and requests directly, but I always saw this as a privilege and try to be spares with it so he has the time to make the big updates and changes.

But please keep experimenting and posting new concepts and idea's so we can all benefit.

Blufftitler is such a great software, that after much I have it
I still don't know how many things it can do.
The strength of this software is from the company that knows how to listen to user requests, I don't think I know others companies so active. The large community of users who collaborate with each other. I guess it's a great effort for Outerspace, but even if I'm still in the early stages, I try to make this program known to people who don't know it as much as possible. Many times we focus on what we can still do without perhaps knowing what we can do, but I think this is because experimenting grows and learns. I take this opportunity to thank everyone, especially Michiel.
