Michiel I lost the connection with the website for almost a week. Today was the first time I got connected.
There were no special problems or changes at my side of the connection.
It happened a few months aga for a shorter time.
Any suggestions?
Hello Filip....
On occasions I can't get in to a particular site using IE. I switch over to FireFox or my AOL account and walk right in. Have you tried alternate browsing capabilities?

outerspace-software.com has an certificate from Let's Encrypt wich is a good thing but anti-virus software don't like it because they cannot scan untill it is already downloaded on your PC. And tend to distrust certificates easily.
Add outerspace-software.com to your exclusion (uitsluitingen) list in your AV.

Since few weeks IE takes 40 secs to open Outerspace site (no problem with Firefox)
I use ESET antivirus and i don't know where to add exclusion

IE is getting obsolete, try Edge, Firefox or Chrome.
In the link how to add URL to exclusion list in Eset.

Alex i have already tried this but has no effect, i think you are right IE becomes obsolete

We regularly test the website in all popular browsers, including IE, Edge, Firefox and Chrome, and have not experienced problems.
In case of browser trouble I advise you to refresh the page (F5) or clear all browsing data including cookies.
If this does not help, please let me know the version of IE, the URL (web address) and the exact and full error message.
Thank you!

michiel don't lose time with my case, it is just for informations:
I have Firefox and IE 11 installed on the same computer, but since few weeks i use only Firefox to browse BT gallery, With IE i have no error but it takes 15 to 20 sec to open gallery (outerspace-software.com...), i have a fast connection and Firefox opens gallery immediately.
I tried to disable ESET antivirus but that not solves the problem....

Which version of IE are you using?
Are other pages having the same issue? Or only the community?
And does it make a difference if you are logged in or out?
michiel, 7 years ago
IE v11.0.9600.18860
No difference logged out or logged in and only with my BT gallery favory shortcut
But works correctly when i change the page, i tried very old page to be sure to not use the IE cache
In any page i click F5 no problem the page is quickly refreshed
if i click on links Products, about, Job & careers, contact, community, help, support there is no problem.
But as soon i close and reopen IE clicking BT favory or reclick favory shortcut without quit IE it takes time, i checked favory property and URL is good
I tried to create favory shortcuts with other Outerspace site page and i have the same problem

michiel, doesn't solve the problem, did you change something in the site since about a month?
Anyway, don't worry i can use Firefox to visit my prefered site, and with Firefox emoji are colored not with IE
vincent, 7 years ago
michiel i tried both and tried to recreate favory since the web page.
what is it strange is that when i refesh (F5) there is no problem, i don't understand the difference between click on favory and F5 because F5 reload completely the page... computing is still full of mysteries

When you enter a http (without an 's') URL, the site automatically changes this to https (with an 's'). After that it's always https, also when you do an F5. That's why I asked you to try to use https for your favorite. This way your URL does not have to be corrected the first time.

Favory shortcut is correct (https)
It's very strange: if i launch IE browser starts with Google (my start page)
then if i paste
outerspace-software.com...
or
outerspace-software.com...
in adress bar and type enter it works correctly,
There is really only the problem since favory shortcut while it contains exactly the same as you can see in attached picture

Yes and it's since about a month. I will tell you why if one day i found the reason.
