Since the last update of Norton Internet Security, Norton does not allow BluffTitler to download files from the internet.
To fix this:
-start Norton
-go to the SETTINGS / WEB BROWSING / PERSONAL FIREWALL / CONFIGURE page
-answer the question HOW TO RESPOND WHEN A PROGRAM ATTEMPTS TO COMMUNICATE TO THE INTERNET with: ASK ME WHAT TO DO
Now when BluffTitler tries to download a file from the internet, Norton pops up a dialog asking you if you would like to allow this connection. Answer: ALLOW ALWAYS.
Other firewalls make the distinction between outgoing and incoming connections.
BluffTitler only needs outgoing connections.

Note that you can instruct BluffTitler itself never to connect to the internet. To do that choose SETTINGS / INTERNET OPTIONS and mark the NEVER CONNECT TO THE INTERNET radio button.

Heh, so before Norton just allowed all kinds of stuff to be downloaded? Doesn't sound like security to me :)
