The answer to all "how do I make this material?" questions is always: use the right texture in combination with the right effect.
Both the texture as well as the effect can be set in the F9 dialog. This is the most important dialog of the application. The same dialog is also displayed when:
-pressing F8
-choosing MEDIA > CHANGE TEXTURE...
-choosing MEDIA > CHANGE EFFECT...
So to find out which texture and effect this example uses: select the text layer and press F9.
And to find out which properties have been adjusted: choose SETTINGS > GENERAL OPTIONS and mark the ADD - SIGN TO NON-DEFAULT PROPERTIES. This way you can immediately see that this example has only adjusted the SPECULARITY and the FX TRANSPARENCY GRADIENT. All other properties use their default settings.
Please note: this example is not animated. It is only meant to explain the F9 dialog.
