Setting the 2nd slider of the FX SIZE prop of the 5 picture layers to -0.01 hides the intersections, but this also prevents you from enjoying the colour gradients.
Here's another way to prevent the intersections:
-switch from the CYLINDER style to the SPHERE style for all the 5 picture layers
-give every picture layer its own SIZE prop value. For example (2, 2, 2), (1.9, 1.9, 1.9), (1.8, 1.8, 1.8) and so on.
This way you can fool around with the FX props and fully enjoy the colour gradients without having to worry about the intersections.
