Hi Michiel,
it would be possible to integrate on the image layer
fixed crop commands and not as an effect?
That would be very helpful.

Thank you

I agree with Franco, It would not waste an effect.

Realize that an effect is much much faster because its shader runs on your graphics card. That's as close as you can get to the metal!

Which extra properties do you suggest for the picture layer?

And why would this be helpful?

Hi Michiel,
I remember that you had already said that the effect is managed in real time by the video card,
But working with images sometimes it is necessary to standardize for example photos.
To avoid doing it externally with graphics software, it would be very useful to be able to
cropping the image directly, in my opinion is one of those effects that you think of
find on the image layer.
Otherwise it might be an idea to always leave it as an external effect, but have it from the panel
loading the effects of the presets prepared for the effects you use most, as a sort of "Favorites". Could this be an idea?

What I can offer you is a new crop effect. This way we can crop our pictures without polluting the app with extra layer props and extra dialog buttons.

Version 16.1 introduces the Filters\Crop effect. I think this does exactly what you want.

The installer comes with 2 demos:
Picture\Crop1.bt
Picture\Crop2.bt
