In this video I tried to make the whole container transparent. But only the line becomes transparent but not the balloons.
Did I do something wrong?

Transparency is only inherited by container layers. I can't remember the logic behind this, but changing this rule will break old shows so I'm afraid you will have to set the transparency for all the balloons separately.
