If I have several cameras and I want to use the "active camera" command, do I always have to act on the first camera?
If I have inserted some keyframes of movement, rotation or other it can become difficult to insert this command afterwards, because every frame has to reset it.
Wouldn't it be possible to use a "switcher" layer dedicated only to this?
Maybe I'm wrong something because I don't understand the numbers of the active cameras, for example if I have two cameras I have to set the number 3 to see the number two rendered and between one keyframe and the other the command has intermediate positions. Is there a simpler way than I am doing?

may in the future have a command to set keyframes to say: from here on set this value.
just as we have "all keyframes" if I set a value with "from here on" the keyframe first remain the set value and the keyframes afterwards change value.

Thanks

Switching between multiple cameras is a great idea. I have seen some shows with multiple cameras and am not sure how that works.

@lightads it is already possible to do this, but I have problems setting it

I think you are looking for the NO ANIMATION tweening method. Set it with the dropdown to the right of the layers dropdown.

The installer comes with a demo that switches between cameras without using multiple camera layers:
Camera\4CameraShots.bt

I think this is easier than using the ACTIVE CAMERA prop:

Thank tìyou Michiel
but the 4camerashots show uses only one camera and close frames to change position, I said I don't understand the active camera well.

Yes, the ACTIVE CAMERA prop only works in the 1st camera layer. This way we do not have to create a separate switcher layer. If you want you can use the 1st camera as the switcher and only render the other cameras. But that will make it very cryptic. It's easier not to use multiple camera layers, as the demo from the installer demonstrates. This also renders a lot faster and uses less memory.
