Is it possible to use a *.eps file as a background picture.

I want to be able to edit the nodes, plugs and links of the Big data Bixpack and be able to link them in the right way, and to create new ones.

I don't think it's possible to have an eps file as a true background. I'm not positive, but if you add a picture and go to change it, there is no eps in the dropdown box for file types. But as I'm sure you know you can add a rectangle eps and change the texture of it to your background picture you want. But it wont be a true background, you'll have to move it way back and make it's size fill up the screen.

The vector layer has no render in background style. Thank you for your request! For now, placing the vector layer at a position far enough from the camera where it does not intersect other layers has the same result.

The nodes, plugs and links of the Big Data pack have been generated by a script. This script creates all the elements and prevents them from intersecting. Given the sheer amount of elements, this would be practically impossible to do manually. So I do not advise to try to do the same manually or edit the generated files. Maybe we can publish the script as part of a vector/3D model generating app!

Thnx Decentralized and Michiel. Publish the script would be great!

It's maybe difficult but not impossible. I simplified The eps files of Template 16 and saved them in separate files. Then I changed the files in this template and edited the template.

This is the result.

I loaded all three files in Bixelangelo and edited (=deleted) node for node/link for link and plug for plug en checked the results in BT. Very time consuming 😨.
