Hi Michiel,
Over a year ago you posted some 3D sketches. I love the idea of 3D sketches. I can see that it is difficult to write an application to do 3D skitches. I thought of some suggestions of how the new 3D sketch application can be done:
1- The new application has preset objects like circle, spring, spirographs, etc. The objects have parameters.
2- The application has a scripting language that recorgnises math functions like sin, cos etc. The scripting language has, also, some pre-defined functions like , circle, polygon, spring etc.
3- Sell a developer licence that allow the buyer of the licence to produce the sketch files using whatever programming language they choose. This option may sound like a bit much to ask for as you are allowing others to compete with one of your product. On the other hand you are selling a licence to the developer and whatever the developer produces is no use without having blufftitler so this may be a selling point for blufftitler.
I hope you will consider the options above. I am very keen to see and be able to use this great feature and I am sure there are a lot of other users who would love to make use of this feature.
Best Regards
Yousef
Like to add a few features request.
1. allow a choice of brush type.
2. have a bezier path creation tool.
This allow the mapping of a path on a bachground image.
3.have an edit mode to edit before save or create bf or sketches.

I would like an option to trace the contours of a background picture (only for not too complex image like clipart or drawing image).

Hello Michiel,
I agree with all this suggestions. This would be a killer duo: BT and such a sketch creator, working together. And with a correct prize to expect, as usual by you.
Let me dream...

Thank you all for your inspiring feedback!
About Yousef's "developer license" suggestion: please feel free to create a 3D sketch designer tool. We'd be happy to give you technical support.

Thanks Michiel,
I shall give it a go and keep you all informed.

I would like to be able to attach items and the camera to a 3D sketch for movement. You could keyframe the position for speed.
