In the \Media\Shows\Sketch\Sketch_AttachedText.bt the text is attached to Sketch layer. How do we know what later the text is using. There's no check or visual identification to show, or is there?
1. When you make the sketch yourself you have control.
A sketch is a recording so the first thing you write is the first and the second second and so on and in the direction you had drawn it.
2. If you use someone else's or forgot how then use the writer property on the sketch to see how it is drawn with the writer property you can also change it to right to left by animating from 1 to 0.

The space between LAYER and 6 in the layers dropdown indicates that the layer is a child.
The parent is the previous layer, in this case layer 5.
