Came across agpvn post on animated text and was absolutely blown away by what he has produced, I've tried to achieve something similar but you guessed it, my attempts were pathetic, lol, which is par for the course really.

Anyways, diagrams, self help groups and youtube videos or college fees to get me at least to some higher level than now, will make me a very happy chappy.

Cheers.

Paul.

Those are nice fonttypes with shiny border animated with flexibility property.

Flexibility
With this property you can make the characters behave as if they are attached to each other by springs. The 1st slider controls the delay in seconds of the slowest character. This is also the time you have to extend the duration of the show in order to give all the characters enough time to reach their destination.

The 2nd slider controls the pickup point, 0 means the first character and 1 the last character.

If the 3rd slider is greater than 0, every character has its own random delay. If the 3rd slider is -1, the text is split into words instead of characters. If the 3rd slider is less than -1, the order of the words is random.

You have to play with the flexibility property. I've made a lot of This type of animation. Can't show an exemplaar because I am abroad.

Hey everyone, I've tried using the flexibility setting and have had a little success but what I'd really like to do is use the left hand panel with either the circle or spiral effect do a couple of twist and turns and then for it to come out of that effect so the text will end face on to the screen.

I've tried using the top bounds slider to straighten out the text but it's just not happening for me, anyone have an idea if it's possible what I'm attempting and if so could you explain where I'm going wrong.

As usual, thanks for any help that you can give.

Work backwards....

At your last key (frame) set the text as you want it to end

minus the flexibility time

(if the animations is 3 seconds and the flexibility is 0,5 then the end key most be 2,5 seconds so it got that 0.5 for the last letter to end.)

(or set show duration higher with add to end, keep in mind this works per second)

Then go to the first key (frame) and set the position, twist property.

If you don't leave the room of the flexibility it will end mid animation.

Good Luck
