Hey everyone how are you all, well still on that wonderful learning curve and hope you can help with the above question.
If not possible directly in BT could someone explain in very simple terms on how and where to do it so I can then import into BT please.

I believe you mean Sketch, with is in eps format but contains the writer ability.
Bixangelo would be your best bet.

Here is a nice exercise for you:
Type your text
Clone this layer
Change effect (F8) to text/textwriter.cfx and select style tubular round.
Go back to the first text and animate to the end of show with writer property.
Go to other text and now animate the Fx writer property to match the first text layer.
