Decentralized and GaspareNet like this!
Hi, I wanted to tell you about the Cascadeur software for creating smooth animations on 3D models
Export to FBX and then we can use it with BluffTitler by converting to GLB.
Have any of you tried it?
There is the possibility to use it for free for export up to a certain number of frames. I hope this notice is not spam, I just wanted to tell you about a program that you can use with BluffTitler.
I have it. It works good.

Well, Filip. I have seen that one can create looping animations and use well in BluffTitler

Franco, thanks for bringing attention to that one. Very nice. I spent some time with it today and the capabilities of the software are very good.
There are of course the usual small quirks when working with format conversions through different software. I took animated FBX into Cascadeur, then on to Blender for the conversion to GLB and in to BluffTitler. I tried with just a few files but two would not open in Cascadeur using "file/open" but worked fine when dragging it into Cascadeur from Windows explorer. Another made it into Cascadeur but was not visible though the correct frame count showed up. I don't see Cascadeur at fault, the formats are tricky in general
One irritating this was that I could not get the AutoPosing to work and when I Googled on the error message it seemed to be a bug that shows up now and then. Too bad, that seems to be a very nice feature, I'll look at it more in detail tomorrow.
Filip, did you run into the "Auto posing tool: no object with name:"-error?
I really just touched the very basics but looking at the tutorial videos, the software is impressive. I give a good grade for ease-of-use, I went through the first tutorial called "Your first Cascadeur animation in 5 MINUTES" and the title was correct. It did not take but a few minutes to get an understanding of how to work the software.

Yes, it's a bit complicated but the result is good.
For the FBX to GLB conversion you can use the Windows 3D player which opens the file and can
save by converting it.
