I have not understood this thing well.
I have a plugin in blender that generates an image
UVmap of the texture.
I can save this texture, then save the object in .x file
I know that the object already shows the texture, but if I insert
the texture generated with UVmap, as I do in BluffTitler
to make it match?
I don't remember this, I tried with UVmapper but not
is right. How is it done with Bix?
I have seen that many have changed the texture with UVmap
of BIX, why can't I use my UVmap textures?
Thanks!!
The UV coordinates (texture coordinates) are stored in your 3D model and tell which part of the texture is mapped to which part of your 3D model. Without UV coordinates it's impossible to know, for example, which part of the texture must be used to render the eyes.
Pretty much all effects support UV mapping. This includes the Lightened effect.
The Special\UVMapper effect tries to fix bad 3D models that do not have UV coordinates by generating them with a math function. So it's only used in rare situations, or for special effects.

No. UV coordinates are resolution independent.
For example (0.5, 0.5) is always the centre of the texture.
And (1, 1) is always the bottom right.
