Michiel I sometimes use an empty picture layer. I first select an picture and then I delete the texture. It creates a white square, This react on sfx files.

Is there a short cut to create a non textured picture at once?

Add picture layer then browse to \textures\white.png

Lightads thnx but this is not an answer to my question.
When you add a white picture and you push F8 and Clear the texture and choose OK.
Then BT creates a white square without a texture. It has a little advantage because there is no extra disk space involved. See m latest show Bulls Eye. The hearts all have no texture.

I tried to create a preset but It doesn't work either because you must select a type of layer before to load a preset. Preset works only to modify a layer not to insert one.

What does an empty image layer do for us. Sorry for asking

Avoid the void.

I think it's better to use white.png than no texture.

I also try to use the Lightened effect rather than no effect.
