Thank you for the report. I tried the AnjaliOldLipi font and I think it looks fine.
What is the problem? Can you provide test strings?

So some characters are accents that must be rendered on top of the previous character. Right?
I've identified 2 such characters:
്
ഁ
We'll try to fix this. Thank you for the test strings.

HI,
NOT ONLY THOSE TWO CHARECTERS BUT ALSO MANY OTHERS SO IT WOULD BE HIGHLY USEFUL TRY TO FIX IT MALAYALAM UNICODE FRIENDLY
YOU MAY FIND SOME EXAMPLES HERE
THANKS

As far as I can see, Malayalam uses the same system as Thai and Khmer: the accents must be rendered right aligned on top of the previous character.
The accents can be rendered on top of all normal characters.
I identified 2 accents and only found examples of the 1st.
Can you post a list of all the Malayalam accents?

Thank you for the test fonts. The Malayalam script turns out to be more complex than rendering the accents at the right place. This will take a bit longer to sort out. Thank you for the test material!

Hi Noufal,
Glad to hear it's correctly rendered now!
The solution turned out to be ligatures and glyph variants. Both are not used in Latin scripts, but are vital in Indian scripts.
They are not supported in the current version, but will be in the next.
We're currently updating the user guide, you can see a preview here. Remember that none of the techniques described on this page work in the version you are using right now:
