I download the latest versions of BT as they become available. For what good it does me!! LOL
I fired up BT today and was plugging along as I usually do. Then I saw the Ad for the new Bixelangelo and to use it I must have the latest version. So I check and my version is 13.3....What the heck....I know I have updated that. But maybe it didn't take. So I do another update.
I'm in BT again and it doesn't seem right. I check and I'm using version 13.3. What is going on here. I know I have updated it.
So I stop work. I have to shake this problem out. Of course the easy way would be to disturb you and the members with my problem. I resolved to solve it myself.
And I did...Hooray for Sarge!!!! YaY...
You see all the stuff that I treasure and use a lot is down on the task bar so one click and I am up and running. Well that's all good except. BT doesn't dump the old version with an update. It stays. And my handy dandy BT on the task bar is still pointing at the old version.
So I have Version 13.3 on the task bar, and on the desk top I find:
Versions: 13.1.0.4, and twice is 13.3.0.5....Hahahahahaha
Maybe when BT updates it could look at the task bar and update it with the latest?
Or maybe the newer version could have a show that reminds the old Sarge to update his task bar.
The installer automatically uninstall the old version.
However this does not work if the old version is running.
So make sure to close BluffTitler before starting the installer.
