vincent, LostBoyz and SMSgtRod like this!
Is there a way to completely reverse a short show without having to completely recreate every key in reverse?
I'm using 05Earth5.bt template from the BixPack20 for an intro to a short night time lapse of the sky but also want to use it in reverse for an outro.
Well. I ended up creating a duplicate show, changed the text and then had it play in reverse in VEGAS PRO but I thought there might have been an easier way.

That's exactly what this guy did too.....Hey! It works...LOL

There is a "Reverse Active Layer" under menu Layer
This will reverse all keys per layer, so you will have to do this for each layer.
Looking at the 05Earth5.bt show, you only need to reverse layer 2 "Sun Point light" so the earth keeps rotating in the correct direction.
Have fun,

Whoa .............. GREAT CATCH komies! I completely overlooked that the earth changed directions. LOL Thanks for the tip. I'll go back and try the "Reverse Active Layer". I was looking for something like that but I guess I just missed it. I was changing the camera layer to zoom in and then edited the "brightness" command to fade out.

Thank you Michiel, I thought I'd seen some talk about this in the past but my old memory didn't retain the conversation. I'm glad komies commented about the direction of the earth rotation because I completely missed that. :-( I'll be using this little project for when I get my dusk to dawn time lapse video recorded. This Saturday night is supposed to be cool and clear here but now it's approaching a full moon again so that's going to mess me up.

Thanks for posting this one MGH.....I just put it to use and it worked perfect....well, after I found the "All Layers" check box that was staring me in the face. I see these things and then a day later don't remember where I saw them. ARGH!
Thanks again sir.

Mine is a family video intro and I used the same thing to close it out in reverse.......Had no planet Earth to spin backwards, but being able to do so is interesting!! LOL
