Just had a question on a couple of things....Say you have a segment that is 14 seconds long. Is there a way to have something come in halfway to the end....for example, come in at the 7 second mark, instead of beginning right away, after the first layers are put in...or any time....and is there a way for that segment to also have a different ending than the first or second segment, so, for example, it would come in on the 7th second, and then quit at the 10th second? I have tried to go back and see if I could pick that aspect up with the online manual, but could not find it....and I assume that if one thing, like a picture, could work, other things could work too, like text or video....that would be wonderful if this program has this ability... thanks very much to anyone if they can help me...

Don, I'm new to this (still making my first title), but here's how I handled it.

Set a keyframe at the beginning with a transpareny of 1. At the 7 second mark where you want the object to start, enter a keyframe and transparency of 0. Then back off .001 seconds and make another keyframe and set the transparency to 1. This keeps the object invisable until ready to appear. I then used the reverse process to have the object end.

Could be a better way, but this seemed to work for me. Good luck.
